Effects Of Global Warming On Our Body & Skin!

The Impact of Climate Change on Body and Skin

Excessive use of motor vehicles has severely affected the human body through the “Global warming“ effect. If we go through deeply, everything on the earth is connected such as the environment & the living creatures (incl. Human Body). Both are interrelated & totally dependent on one another. That also means one’s activities will affect others also and as a result, it will definitely bounce back as an after-effect. Likewise, humans cutting down the forest, the environment takes revenge in the form of floods that carry away whosoever comes in the front.

Climate change has led to the emergence of large-scale environmental hazards to human health, followed by human body & skin, such as weather, ozone depletion, increased danger of wildfires & many more. Research explores the many impacts of climate change on human health, food supply, economic growth, migration, security, societal change, and public goods, such as drinking water. And if we talk about skin, it has resulted in: –

How Climate Change Can Affect Your Skin?

1.Sunburn- It is an acute injury following excessive exposure to solar UV rays. The redness of the skin that results is due to an increased blood content of the skin by dilatation of the superficial blood vessels in the dermis. UV radiation contributes about 15-20 % to the sunburn reaction.

2.Tanning- A socially desirable consequence of exposure to unfiltered sunlight is the delayed pigmentation of the skin known as Tanning.

3.Immediate pigment Darkening-This is a transient darkening of the exposed skin that can be induced by UVA and visible radiation. It occurs within 5-10 min of exposure to summer and normally fades within 1-2 hours.

4.Photoaging-The clinical signs of photoaged skin are dryness, deep wrinkles, accentuated skin furrows, sagging, loss of elasticity, and mottled pigmentation.

5.Risks of Severe Acne: The human body maintains a temperature of around 98.2 F, and the Sebaceous glands and sweat glands are heat sensitive and rapidly produce their secretions. Thus overproduction of sebum admixed with shed keratinocytes clogs the hair follicles, precipitating acne.

How to Protect Your Skin from the Effects of Climate Change?

Aforesaid problems can only be repaired with proper skin & Body Care. There are many skin treatments & products which are meant for this purpose only. Some of them are Body Cleaners that are used to remove sweat, dirt, excess oil, pollution, and unwanted cells off the skin. It keeps the skin clean, shiny & Glowing. Skin hydration will repair dehydrated skin by bringing luster to the skin, brings shine, makes skin bouncier, blackheads-free, and acne-free as well. Body exfoliation is the process of removing dead cells from the surface of the skin by appropriate chemicals, granular substances, or external exfoliation tools such as Body Scrubs. Treatment of flaky skin occurs when skin becomes too dry which is caused by less water content in our body. It can be treated by a gentle exfoliator followed by deep moisturization with topical cream.
